Asbestos Art Space is a space for art and culture in Kruununhaka, Helsinki. The space is run by an artist-led group called the Asbestos collective.

Asbestos Art Space acts as an open urban space, creating a platform for art, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary activities as well as cultural events.

We want to break the traditional structures and commerciality of the art world by creating an inclusive, low-threshold urban space that matches our world of thought. The space enables the activities of visiting artists.

We adhere to the principles of a safer space. We expect this from our members and visitors.
