You’re warmly welcome to Heidi Wennerstrand’s debut exhibition Maailmankuva (‘Worldview’), at Asbestos gallery in Helsinki, running July 1 to July 11, 2021. The show references a three-year period in her life during which she lost her mother, father, and her best friend.
Self-taught as an artist, Wennerstrand is known from her work in the Biitsi duo, whose audio essay ‘Silver Epoch’ was part of Frame’s Rehearsing Hospitalities program this Spring. Her own practice includes the making of ikebana art for group shows and for other artists, and dance.
