Energy Portals consist of media and material that I have collected and edited during my life, exploring the storage of information in matter, how that information can be read, and how objects construct a person’s identity. All matter carries with it more or less information. My goal has been to study what kind of narratives the different remnants of my work build when they are incorporated into new entities. I have also studied making a mark on an art object as a kind of storage of information.
