Algis Fediajevas is a Lithuanian guitarist and singer-songwriter who plays a unique and exotic variation of psychedelic folk or experimental folk music. One part of his music is the fingerstyle acoustic guitar played in an unorthodox way with a lot of buzzing, vibrating and waving. Another part is sometimes calm, sometimes aggressive vocals and his own quite psychedelic poetry sung in the Lithuanian language, which adds some mystique to the songs.
Algis lets his music ramble: it wanders from calm folky melodies to meditative Eastern sounds, to dissonant explosions, from songs to long improvisations leading to trance. All this creates a distinctive psychedelic style and shamanic atmosphere.
During his solo musical life, which started in 2013, Algis released four albums. His latest release was published at the end of 2023 and is titled Po trejų metų (which means “After three years”). It can be found on vinyl, CD, cassette, Spotify, Bandcamp. The album was recorded in England and features local musicians.
Previous albums: 2014 – Vieškeliu į Araratą (Along the Path to Ararat), 2016 – Mano bičiuli nerime (My Buddy, Anxiety), 2019 – Pėdsakų lede nepalikus (Not Having the Footprints Left in the Ice).
Algis played in many European countries and this tour in Finland will not be the first one for him. In the spring of 2024, he toured in the Southern part of the country.

Honeypaw’s vision is to explore the connection between Finnic and Baltic cultures to create rich and enchanting soundscapes. Canadian Interdisciplinary artists Matti Palonen and Jurgita Zvinklyte blend ancient Nordic instruments with modern sound synthesis. Based on their studies of early wax cylinder recordings, they use archaic tunings which aimed to produce visceral aural effects since lost to Western music.
They are currently visiting Helsinki to share their practice of working with these archaic tunings to create modern music at the Rethinking Music Heritage Conference.
