The exhibition is open 18-19.5. at 14-18

The exhibition deals with personal feelings of getting lost, and being lost. This feeling of getting lost is concretized in a blindfold performance. Being lost means e.g. disappearance and error. The exhibition consists of drawings made with charcoal on canvas, the works are the result of drawing performances, and the exhibition includes video documentation of the performances made.
The drawings realized through the performances are the result of a desire to study one's own
sensory activity and intuition. By tying the eyes and hands, excluding the senses, drawing has been intentionally made awkward and clumsy.
Onni Takkinen is a visual artist living in Tampere who has graduated from Saimaa
from the University of Applied Sciences in 2018. Takkinen works extensively in the arts
in the field: painting, performances, and drawing.
Takkinen’s works are expressive, meaning they deal with his own feelings, which are influenced by the surrounding reality, such as nature, the man-made urban environment, and man himself.
