29.4. Thu Nguyen,Hanna Thenór Årström and Kili Kugler: Vari* Zine release

Release event at friday from 7pm to 10pm!

Welcome to the release event of our zine vari* at Asbestos Art Space! Our first issue has the topic IDENTITY and 12 artists and writers from several countries have contributed with amazing work. Thu Nguyen and Hanna Thenór Årström has edited and Cili Kugler is the graphic genius behind this yellow/pink revelation.

We will have drinks and snacks on a first-come, first-served basis. The gallery is quite small so feel free to drop in at any point during the event, no need to show up at the exact start time!

The zine will be at sale for 10€ a piece. The whole amount will go to producing the next issue of vari*. You are welcome to donate more to support our work and any amount above 15€ will be donated to an association supporting marginalized people in Ukraine.

A zine is a self-published magazine of sorts, a homemade rebellion against the elitism and alignment of printed media. vari* is a nordic based hybrid zine which explores different perspectives, practices and thoughts on intersectional feminist research in any artistic and creative form.

This first issue was realised with the support from ASIF?! and Svenska kvinnoförbundet i Sörnäs.
