Sirpa Kokkinen: Liberation
Opening hours: vernissage 31.7. at 17-19, 1.-5.8. 13-17
Life throws a volt,
and dreams become reality.
Who would believe?
Neither do I.
You're an obstacle to yourself,
before you start believing.
“I think I have found myself. And I like it.”
Artist’s own notes, 24.1.2024
The colourful abstract works in the “Liberation” exhibition tell the story of
releasing an inner flame, believing in oneself, voyage into the inner self and
incredible coincidences.
Sirpa Kokkinen is a visual artist from Helsinki whose works are created intuitively by combining rich colours and textures. Kokkinen uses strong colours and light to create different emotional states and mental landscapes in her works. Mystical abstract images create a unique experience for each viewer.
