The first cell was born on Earth 3.5 billion years ago. It was called a chemoheterotroph. The word transition is a noun that means a state or process in which something changes or moves. A small cell makes transitions in our bodies every day. Disturbingly small things create big meanings in our minds. Eye movement can go from bottom to top, back, to the side, rotating or stay in place. A moving image resembles a tear, the impossibility of staying in one spot.
This exhibition is built by every person who comes to the space. The small works on display are intended to inspire reflection on the various transitions in life, the necessities of the mind and body for the realization of a good life.

at: 17:30–19:00 The philosopher will lead group discussions on the topic From Space to Space.
Transitions are rarely just properties of objects, they also occur in the observer's gaze, in time and space. Every transition involves preservation, loss and becoming, but in what relationship? Sometimes we recognize a change in a small detail, sometimes we see the same detail in a new way, as if it had changed. What happens when we move from one space to another?
Philosopher Petri Tähtinen is a recent practitioner of philosophy who loves all kinds of thinking and is often amazed.
Mental well-being Thu 10.4.
at: 16–17.00 Vahvistin – support for work well-being in the arts and culture sector
In the workshop you will learn how to utilize the new Vahvistin peer group model, which is designed to support the mental well-being and work ability of self-employed and freelancers in the arts, culture and event sectors. We will explain why peer group activities are worthwhile and how to organize a peer group. We offer help and support in starting a peer group activity. The workshop is led by artist expert Katriina Haikala (Arts Promotion Centre) and special expert Heli Ansio (National Institute of Occupational Health). Vahvistin was designed in the Mental Health Toolkit project of the National Institute of Occupational Health. The project is part of Finland's Sustainable Growth Programme and the project's funding comes from the EU's one-off recovery instrument (Next Generation EU) through the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The project's partners are the Finnish Arts Promotion Centre, the Finnish Musicians' Association and the Finnish Theatre and Media Workers' Association.
