Our desire in the western world to associate the color white with neutrality, purity, dignity and good taste is a white lie. No pigment carries these properties by itself, we have built the meaning behind the color on our own. White lie exhibits visions from Kim Kardashian’s million dollar white mansion using oil painting as a medium. These paintings reflect thoughts about the origin of the lofty qualities that are associated with the color white.
