Areena is a place where we bring out our memories. Well, they are not all exactly memories, for example, Saima has been taking panoramic photos with her phone since the year 2019. Annika is surfing the web to find things that she could relate to. The photos found from IRC gallery remind of the time when we were still too young, but her older cousin was just the age to take photos like that. Johanna prepares homemade play-doh for the exhibition and lets coincidence and air humidity do their thing. The dough might take new shape or harden out just like memories do sometimes. Memories become pictures which become something else, something like prints or drawings. I guess we are just experimenting with what that might be. We expose them to new contexts and associations. A new set of eyes and thoughts.
